[Lustre-discuss] Lustre 1.8.8 and 1.8.5

Dear Friends:
       Before upgrade our cluster system, the lustre server version is
1.8.5, and client version is 1.8.5, client OS is Redhat 5.3 kernel version
2.6.18
       Because we need to run some software on Redhat 6, so we upgrade the
client OS to Redhat 6.4 kernel version 2.6.32, and client luster version is
changed to 1.8.8 fo support Redhat 6.  But in order to do noting with our
data, we didn't change the Lustre server version , it is still 1.8.5.
       Now ,there is some questions. For example, when our users in the
clustre system ,sometimes vi  the file in the Lustre will take very long
time (maybe more than 10 minutes to open the file)   . What should I do to
solve the problem?
