[lustre-discuss] Adding network to lnet, without downtime

In newer Lustre versions this can be done dynamically with lnetctl. I'm not an expert in that, but hopefully that gets you looking in the right direction.

I can move ost between oss; then on not used oss  rmmod lnet; change parameters; modprobe lnet;  but… I’d prefere to add the network online. (Like writing to /sys filesystem).  Is this possible? Have anyone done this, if yes was it’s stable?
