In general, yes, and if the kernel versions match, then almost certainly specifically too.  I’ve certainly done it on a Fedora box in the past.

Does this mean that lustre 2.10 will build on Fedora hosts?  I'd love to be able to natively mount Lustre file systems on my workstation without having to use NFS.
