Dear All,

I am trying to format the a new OST, but i get the fail "mkfs.lustre FATAL:
Unable to build fs /dev/ost006vgchivodp/ost0006vchivodp (256)".

The command sentence I am using is:
---------------------------------------------------------------
[root at CASSACA-OSS-01 ~]# mkfs.lustre --ost --index=6 --fsname=chivodp
--failnode=10.10.0.22 at o2ib --verbose --mgsnode=10.10.0.19 at o2ib
--mgsnode=10.10.0.20 at o2ib /dev/ost006vgchivodp/ost0006vchivodp

Lustre FS: chivodp
Mount type: ldiskfs
Flags: 0x62
              (OST first_time update )
Persistent mount opts: ,errors=remount-ro
Parameters: failover.node=10.10.0.22 at o2ib mgsnode=10.10.0.19 at o2ib

mkfs.lustre FATAL: Unable to build fs /dev/ost006vgchivodp/ost0006vchivodp
(256)

mkfs.lustre FATAL: mkfs failed 256
---------------------------------------------------------------

I used the same command for the others OST, but for this
(/dev/ost006vgchivodp/ost0006vchivodp) I get the fail.

I understand that the problems is with the size of the OST, but I don't
know how to force the resize.

Any suggestion can help me.

Cheers !
