[lustre-discuss] compatibility problem between 2.17 client and 2.15 server

Hi all,

on a filesystem with OST and MDT with version 2.15.8 running on Rocky Linux 8.10 we are having problems when accessing with clients 2.17.0 running either on Debian 13.6 or Rocky Linux 8.10.

When writing with command lfs_migrate, cp or mv we max at 160-200 Mb/s, while with rsync we reach 2.5 Gb/s.

The problem disappears with lustre client 2.16.1, but we would prefer to use 2.17.
